happy holidays!
As the year draws to a close, we wanted to say thank you to all of our clients for the support and encouragement you've shown us throughout the year. While 2009 may have had a tumultuous beginning, our team has grown by leaps and bounds this year with the opening of our newest location in Palm Beach, our foray in the bridal world, and the launch of our fantastic new weddings mirco-site! Wishing you very merry holidays and a Happy New Year! Cheers! The Taylor Creative Team Bobby, Mary, Christina, Elle and James

the new venue: 632 Below
Last week, Bobby Taylor and I had the pleasure of working with a team of talented vendors for a photo shoot at a brand new venue, 632 Below. Opened as an extension of the original venue, 632 on Hudson, 632 Below is an airy, gallery-like space perfect for intimate dinner parties, bridal showers, wedding receptions, and photo shoots. We had a great team of vendors to pull this shoot together - we collaborated with Hatch Creative Studio to create the design vision, while Rountree Flowers put together the beautiful floral arrangements and the crew from Levy Lighting provided the room's ambient glow. The gorgeous photos were taken by Elan Artists's Roey Yohai and Allan Zepeda, as well as a few candid shots by our own Bobby Taylor. Check out the photos below to see the transformation of the space!
The Taylor Crew unloading at the site Setting the Table We used the space for two separate shots - one dining shot and one lounge shot - to show the versatility of the venue. For the dining shot below, we used three of our glowing Cube Tables with Victoria Ghost chairs. Adorned with bouquets of pastel roses, this setup is perfect for a bridal shower or luncheon! Last week we talked about how different shades of lighting can effect an event and this shoot was the perfect example. The soft amber glow of the right photo creates a warm, inviting atmosphere while the icy electric shade on the left offers an ultra sleek setting.
Our second shot focused on creating a lounge - perfect for the wedding after-party or cocktail hour. The all-white decor was brightened up with thick green leaves and bold purple orchids. We filled the space with several different lounge vignettes, creating smaller, more interesting spots for guests to mingle.
The White Hudson Pieces were perfect for the space and left plenty of room for accent pieces like tables, pedestals and shimmer frames.
But no event is complete without a fully stocked bar. Our glowing Plexi Bars with Cubitec Shelving were the focal point of the venue's front room, with our Chrome Edge Highboys providing an elegant spot to place your drink.
Our thanks to all vendors for putting together such a great shoot! Labels: Products, Venues

light up the holidays
The sparkling season has kicked into overdrive and we are gearing up for a month of dazzling events - December is the perfect time for intimate engagement parties, holiday gatherings and New Year's Eve soirees. Lighting is one of the most important decor elements for any event - it sets the mood, creates a magical atmosphere and heightens the blissful glow of the bride-to-be. With an array of colors, sizes and styles, our chandelier collection will give your venue that extra-special touch. Check out some of our recent events below! Our friends over at Ron Wendt Design used shaded chandeliers to cast a glamorous glow for a banquet style dinner party. The red and black color scheme blended perfectly with our lucite Louis Ghost chairs to create a rich, elegant look. For a pop of color, refresh traditional holiday parties with our Red Dress Chandeliers. At a photo shoot at The Glass Houses, we created a scarlet-hued table setting by matching the chandeliers with our Glossy Red Bellini chairs - the fire-engine hue is eye-catching in any room! If your style is more traditional or you're having a refined reception, our Mirrored Chandeliers offer a shimmering solution for any lighting quandary. Sleek and simple, these understated pieces bring a classic touch to a modern celebration. For more colorful options, you can see all of our chandeliers by clicking here. Labels: Holiday, Products
